Spring.NET Visual Object Editor is an attempt to mimic the Java Spring Beans editor found in the SpringSource IDE. The program allows you to create your xml configuration file using a GUI that uses reflection to add/edit/remove objects and properties. It's developed in C#.

As of version 1, the software allows you to create object definitions and to add and modify properties based on value and reference.

By using Reflection, the program narrows down the objects that can set to a property by "ref". By looking at the class definition, it also allows you to choose the property to add.

How to Use

In the Dist folder, run "SpringBeansEditor.exe". A window shows up with two tabs
  1. Assemblies for classes in XML: This tab allows you load the assemblies that contain the classes that will be use for autocompletion. The assemblies are loaded as "reflection only" to prevent undesired side-effects.
  2. Objects in XML: This tab allows you load, edit, create and save a Spring.net configuration file.

As of now the program only support the val and ref attributes for properties. The following are not supported yet (maybe you can help):
  1. Generics
  2. Collections
  3. Constructors
